Wendy likes Neighbours. I know, I know, but what can you do.  So, I've decided to let her have this page.

G'Day. I'm Wendy and I'm VERY excited to have my own little page.  I've decided to write about Neighbours because, frankly, I sit around the house a lot so it is probably the single most important thing in my life.  I'm going to bring you (approximately) weekly updates on all the goings on in Erinsborough.  A week is a long time in soap-land, so I expect we'll be averaging about one death, one new relationship and at least one amusing incident involving Harold and Lou in each instalment.  I may even keep a tally chart.

11th-18th January 2008

Accidental running down of neighbour in car: 1
Bizarre kidnapping plots: 1
Comas: 1
Unhappy/confused/interested/thinking multipurpose face from Paul Robinson: 7
References to Paul Robinson's missing leg: 0 (disappointing)
Status of Karl and Susan's relationship: Rock solid in adversity
Police presence: high

Commentary: Another busy week in Erinsborough.  Under the influence of an unusual 'hormonal' sleeping sickness, Susan fell asleep at the wheel, knocking down Bridget, waking up and driving away without realising.  Simple enough, but the plot thickens...She was driving Declan's car because Oliver had lent to Karl to take for a test drive.  Mickey saw the car drive off, recognising it as Declan's, but not seeing who was at the wheel.  Bridget was rushed to hospital where she remains in a coma (giving Karl ample opportunity to get the scrubs back on - odd when he was just a GP, even odder now he isn't), Declan got the blame and Erinsborough was quick to judge.  The Police (for which read: Adam and partner) were called out, Declan did a runner and got kidnapped by a weird couple.  They, for those of you who aren't fans, are doing this to get money out of Oliver (Declan's brother) as this will give them compensation for Paul Robinson killing Gus back in the days when he was bad Paul Robinson.  To explain, the Police (Adam and partner) are unable to prosecute as Paul's brain tumor had caused him to forget everything he did as bad Paul Robinson, so when he remembered this, his confession was not sufficient.  Elsewhere, Susan realised what had happened and turned herself into the Police (Adam's partner - Adam was busy elsewhere in crime-struck Ramsey Street).  Hope you followed that.  Phew!  Not going to write that much next time.  I have to use a pencil strapped to my nose to press the keys as it is.
