I see that Sir Jack Hayward is making a further push to sell Wolves. It also seems that the Christmas sales have come early, and at half price, this seems like a bit of a bargain. So (and you read it here first), I have entered into negotiations with the club as the head of a top secret consortium bid. So secret, in fact, that even I don’t know yet who will be involved. I’m pleased to report although I’m not strictly a local, Sir Jack welcomes my interest as I am a devoted fan, and at least I don’t eat garlic. We have however agreed that the finer points of the deal need to be ironed out before we can go public with the news. So, I’m in with a pound, Wendy has also set aside a pound, and we’re currently looking for other prospective consortium members (no unscrupulous foreigners or bad sorts, please) to register their interest so we can make up the remaining £19,999,998.  I’ll keep you updated, and am confident that the club will be in new hands in time for the January transfer window.
